A sadhana immersion
what does it truly mean to live yoga?
In September 2027, I’ll be joining Nina for another Sadhana Immersion, this time in the beautiful hills of Piedmont, Italy. Together, we’re inviting you to a week of dedicated practice, reflection, and exploration at Villa Pravernara.
WHEN
/ 11–17 September 2027
WHERE
/ Villa Pravernara, Piedmont, Italy
/ from 1.450 €
For us, yoga is both a practice and a way of life. It shapes how we relate to ourselves and the world around us, how we listen, respond, and move through everyday life. Through our own experience, we have found that a personal practice can become a steady foundation in life. Something we can return to through times of change and uncertainty, helping us recognise our patterns, cultivate awareness, and stay connected to what truly matters.
what is sadhana?
Sadhana is the commitment to a personal, daily practice. It asks us to show up with consistency, curiosity, and care, cultivating discipline while keeping the heart soft and open.
During this week, we will explore Sadhana through extended daily practices, yogic philosophy, and shared reflection. We will deepen our understanding of the teachings and explore how they can support us in navigating life’s challenges, relating to others, and staying connected to ourselves.
You will have space to reflect on what Sadhana means for you personally and how to develop a practice that is nourishing, meaningful, and sustainable. A practice that can grow with you and continue to support you long after the retreat.
Together, we will explore how to:
• Deepen our practice through asana, pranayama, and meditation
• Cultivate presence, body awareness, and a deeper capacity to listen
• Recognise our patterns and bring greater awareness into our relationships
• Weave yogic philosophy into everyday life
• Establish a personal Sadhana

one day could look like this
morning
silence, extended meditation, pranayama & asana practice, followed by a nourishing breakfast and time to rest, journal or be in nature.
afternoon
yogic philosophy & lifestyle teachings, workshops and asana labs to deepen understanding, technique and awareness.
evening
wholesome dinner, followed by yoga nidra, mantra, journaling or reflective practices.
the place

We will spend the week at Villa Pravernara, a beautiful 16th-century villa nestled in the rolling hills of Piedmont, Northern Italy. Lovingly restored by Sheila and her family, the villa has become a place dedicated to yoga, community, and conscious living.
The villa is situated on a hillside just outside the small town of Valenza, overlooking the surrounding valley and countryside. With its spacious rooms, beautiful practice spaces, and peaceful surroundings, it offers a wonderful setting for our week together. Here, we will share our daily practice, enjoy meals together, spend time outdoors, and find space to rest and reconnect. Located between Turin, Milan, and Genoa, Villa Pravernara is also easily accessible from all three cities, each approximately an hour away by car.
meet your teachers

Nina
Nina, founder of Marga Yoga, is a Lisbon-based yoga teacher devoted to building a bridge between the physical practice and the ancient spiritual teachings of yoga. Rooted in the Ashtanga Vinyasa system as the foundation of her practice and teaching, Nina loves to “break the rules” and weaves in elements of different approaches such as Ghosh Yoga, Vinyasa, Rocket, Jivamukti and Katonah Yoga. Her teaching aims to give students a container where they feel safe to shed the layers of their identity and move from the thinking mind into the feeling body. You can expect a rigorous but accessible practice, blending Philosophy, Kriya, Mantra, Pranayama, Asana and Meditation, that aims to leave you more grounded, tender and confident in who you are (not).
Hannah
Hannah is a Hamburg-based yoga and mindfulness teacher and psychologist. She approaches yoga as a pathway to deeper connection: with oneself, with the world, and within the interplay of body and mind. With roots in hatha yoga and buddhist contemplative practices, her current teaching is particularly inspired by her ongoing personal exploration of Love and All Is Coming and Black Lotus Yoga. Her classes are strong, clear, and grounding, inviting curiosity and exploration through movement and stillness. Weaving together philosophy and embodied practice, she encourages students to deepen their understanding of themselves and discover stillness and steadiness amid life’s constant movement.
who is this immersion for?
This immersion is for those who feel a genuine curiosity to explore yoga more deeply and are willing to dedicate time and attention to their practice. Wherever you find yourself in life right now, this week offers an opportunity to reconnect, deepen your practice, and remember what is important to you. We would love to share this week of practice, learning, and exploration with you.
